We had fun at the Church party. Kelsey's cousins came too.
Kayley, Collin & Ellie in the parade
Kelsey was going to be Ariel but decided to be Tinkerbell at the last minute
Ellie and Maddux - when you find other random costumes that match so well you have to take pictures
Have you ever seen a cuter Charley Brown?
Kelsey didn't quite get the concept of hands free bobbing-for-donuts but she enjoyed it all the same
Chad & Jace hanging out.
There was a Chili cook off as well. I didn't even think about judging I just made Sharon's chili (with a few modifications) and won "Honorable Mention" - Good thing I didn't follow through with my first idea - just heat up a few cans of store-bought chili :) For the recipe click on the Oranges and Biscuit's icon on the sidebar...
One of the problems of the get-in-free-for-birthday at Disneyland is finding a friend to go with you. Luckily my twin nephews have built in friends... and a wonderful aunt with season passes :)
They go all out for Halloween now - it's fun to go just to see all the decorations
Not only is the boys first trip but it was Jason's too (Not much of a surprise since he's only 2 months but he'll probably go several more times before he's 6 months)
(This is just us riding Nemo - but I'm so seldom in the picture I had to add it :)
Jason was excited about the ride.
We took turns going with the boys on the 'fast rides'. I haven't been on Star tours for years and years. I highly recommend it!1
As we were riding overhead on the monorail I noticed the Queen of Hearts out. I'm a character stalker (for my kids - not me :) We went over there but though I tried to bribe Collin with money and/or Webkinz he would not go get his picture taken. Cruella helped me out and went over the rope to go to him but the others weren't that mobile...
so I had to finally be in the pictures. the witch was pretty cool and got Jace to hold her hand :)
Kelsey was excited to see the Queen ...
but not so much the witch that was hiding around the corner
Collin was trying to get me to offer the same bribe to stand with Jack and Sally - but no dice.
Jace loved the rides he had a fun time seeing all the moving lights and characters - until mom decided it would be a good time to feed him while we were all sitting down.
Always hopeful...
Put your back in it!
I was worried about taking baby Jace but it was much easier than I feared. I think the key was having Chad there to help out. I need to go a few more dozen times before our passes run out in December.

Already Jace is 2 months old and wearing 3-6 month clothes. (I hardly notice since he wears his nightgowns most of the time.)
