My Relunctant Ballerina

I signed up Kelsey for Ballet through the Parks & Rec. She was funny though and didn't want to go - but then as soon as we would leave she would do all the moves and was always saying, "My teacher..." Maybe we'll try again later.

Who Scored My Camera!

On my mission if an Elder found a camera lying around they would always "score" it - meaning they would take a picture of themselves. This was pre-digital cameras so you wouldn't know they did it until you got your film developed...
Kelsey has found she likes to do the same thing...
With some disturbing results!
I can't look at this picture without laughing!

Water Ballet

Now when Kelsey pushes off to swim to Chad she has to do a flip first...

She can even tread water! Three years old and already she swims better than I do...

So Thankful!!!

I have so many things to be thankful for - here's the big 3!
We're healthy, happy. We have a nice house. Chad has a good job. He's strong and has the skills and the willingness to get extra work so I can stay home with the kids.
We live in a beautiful area. In a beautiful city with great weather. Close enough to the big city to see any shows or entertainment we want. Close to the Temple. But far enough away for little traffic, crime & pollution.
Collin is thankful for Pokemon :) He is grateful for living close to so many cousins & Grandparents. He is so thankful for his little brother. Collin loves where we live - he likes to go explore with his best friend.
Kelsey is most thankful for her Daddy. Disneyland, Princesses & her friend Nya.
I could go on and on.
What are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving Day

Kelsey was enthusiastic about dinner and got to the table first - by about 30 minutes...
Dinner at Grandma & Grandpa's house
Grandma, Rainey & Grandpa

The Hagers, minus Debbie & Bradlee (Bradlee's appendix had the bad timing to burst this week and she's still in the hospital :(

Our Future

At Disneyland we went into Innovations for a change. they have this fun program where you answer some questions and they create a future for you (my favorite is where I don't have to do any house work :)

They're all a little different and a little fun.

Good Night

I've noticed that a lot of my pictures are of my family sleeping... I think my goal has become an obsession ( to sleep and to get everyone else to sleep - so I can sleep)
Jace did a great job of getting Collin to sleep tonight - now if I can get him to get Kelsey to sleep too...

Playing Dress-up

Normally it's Kelsey playing dress up...

It's not just funny that Collin decided to dress Jace up in his boxers - it's his attitude about it. When he jumped in the picture he said, "Now one [picture] with the 'Artiste'" Like he was some fashion designer :)

My sweet baby is so patient :)

A Quiet Afternoon

We had Joe the Plumber come install a water softener for us. Kelsey was keeping him company in the garage until he gave her a box to play in...

She was pretty quiet so I had to look in the box... ahhhhh

All she needs is her thumb and belly button...
They actually timed their naps together for once - so nice and peaceful.

Sleep Aids

I've finally found the cure for Collin's sleep problems...
At night he wants to cuddle to sleep - so he helps me put the baby to sleep...
Then in the morning I put Jace in bed with Collin. If that doesn't wake him up fast enough I just tell him that he's missing first-morning-smiles and Collin pops right up.
Who knew a baby brother would be so beneficial...

My Amazing Mother

Too cute
Mom with her Dad. Growing up in Idaho.
Mom was a straight A student, involved in drama and various other clubs. She had graduated from university and was working at BYU when she met Dad
This is the weekend for mother's birthdays...
To start off our family Mom had four kids in four years, in the first 5 years of her marriage!
Mom was always very active in church and sewing
I can't imagine how much work Mom had to do raising the 7 of us
The 9 of us
Mom & Dad served 2 missions. First to Mozambique, and more recently, Costa Rica.
She had fun with Collin when he visited her in Costa Rica
Here are 11 of their 18 grandchildren.
Still, you know our mothers are honored and loved, not for what they've done but for who they are...
Mom, you are Fabulous, Beautiful & Intelligent. Your calendar is full of appointments to serve your family and others. You are amazing!
