Normally we crash long before New Years (ironic since every other night we are up well past midnight) but we made a special effort this year...
Luckily the kids can't tell time. I was going to celebrate with Costa Rica but we ended up more around 10:35 - whatever - Happy New Year!

We were staying up to see the new year come in but the electricty kept going off. The third time it didn't come back on so we went to bed. No porblem telling when it was midnight as you would have thought you were in a war zone. I don't know where they get all the fire works. It went on for a while and either stopped or we just went to sleep. Happy New Year. Mom
