Collin always tries to get me to call into the radio contests to win whatever they're offering - like it's that easy. One time I was caller #6 - I was pretty excited, even though they were looking for caller #10 - at least I got through...
This morning it took me 3 times to even get the phone number right as they were gearing up for the give-away on KRUZ FM. Even then when they asked for caller #17 I looked in my cell phone and saw I had one number wrong so I had to go back and edit the number then call. The first time: busy
The second time: "call back" (I'm nothing if not obedient so I did)
The third time: busy
The fourth time: "What's your name and where are you calling from?!"
So it seems the fourth times the charm!
I was so excited I had to tell Collin we finally won - he was speechless :)
So what did we win? 4 tickets to San Diego Wild Animal Park. Very Cool! We'll have to go next week while Chad and Collin are out of school. I'm still stoked - I know it's an old-school term but it just seems to apply - I'm so STOKED!!!
